Beamer doesn't have a built-in connector for AI assistants, such as an MCP server. You can still work with Beamer from AI tools in two ways.
If you also use Userflow, it does have an MCP server. It works with your Userflow account only, not Beamer. See Userflow's MCP server docs.
Using an AI coding tool to install Beamer
Tools like Cursor help you write code for your own site or app. Beamer doesn't run inside the tool itself. To install Beamer with one:
Copy your embed script from Beamer (see How to install Beamer on your website or app?).
Ask the tool to add the script to your site or app's code, the same way you'd add any other script.
Deploy your site or app as usual.
If your app can't run third-party scripts, you can ask the tool to build an API-based install instead. See How to install Beamer using our API?
Connecting Beamer to your own AI workflow
If you want an AI agent or automation to read or create Beamer content, use the Beamer API. It can create and read posts, read unread counts, and manage users. See the Beamer API Reference.
Keep your API key safe:
Don't paste your API key into an AI chat.
Store it the way your code stores other secrets, such as an environment variable.
Use a separate key for each integration, and a read-only key wherever write access isn't needed. See API key permissions.
For no-code automations, Beamer also connects to Zapier and supports webhooks for new posts, comments, reactions and NPS scores.
