# How to downgrade or change your plan

You can change or downgrade your Beamer plan from your billing settings. Here's what to expect.

## What happens when you downgrade

- Changes take effect at the **end of your current billing term** — you keep your current features until then.
- Beamer doesn't issue prorations, credits, or refunds for the unused part of a term.
- You'll see a confirmation summary before the change is applied, and you'll get an email when the change is scheduled and again on the day it takes effect.
- You can cancel a scheduled downgrade any time before it takes effect, so your plan renews as-is.

## How to downgrade or change your plan

1. Go to **Settings > Billing**.
2. Select the product you want to change — Changelog, NPS, or Feedback.
3. In the plan box, click **DOWNGRADE** and confirm on the summary screen.

## Annual and custom plans

Switching from an annual plan to monthly isn't self-serve — contact our support team and we'll schedule it for the end of your term. Custom plans also aren't self-serve; reach out via in-app chat and we'll help.
