If you can't get into your Beamer account, work through these in order.
1. Check you're on the right login page
Sign in at app.getbeamer.com/auth/login. Bookmarks and old links sometimes point at pages that no longer accept credentials.
2. Check which sign-in method your account uses
An account is linked to one sign-in method at a time.
If you see "Please Use SSO to login" in red under the email field, your account is set up for single sign-on and won't accept an email and password. Sign in one of these ways instead:
Google — use the Sign in as… button above the email field.
SAML SSO — sign in through your organization's SAML login URL. See Single sign-on (SAML SSO).
If you need to move an account off Google SSO, see Single sign-on (SAML SSO) for how to desynchronise it first.
If SSO is set up correctly and sign-in still fails for someone who recently rejoined the company, see step 6.
3. Reset your password
On the login page, click Forgot your password?
Enter the email address you signed up with.
Click Reset.
Open the reset email and click through to set a new password.
Full steps are in How to change my password?
4. The reset email didn't arrive
Check your spam and junk folders.
Confirm you entered the same address you signed up with — a reset for an address with no account won't produce an email.
Check whether your organization's mail filtering is holding it. Ask your IT team to allow mail from Beamer.
Give it a few minutes before retrying; repeated requests can invalidate earlier links.
5. "Incorrect password" right after signing up
If you just completed signup and your password is rejected on first login, don't keep retrying — request a password reset instead. If the reset email doesn't arrive either, contact us; this combination usually needs us to look at the account directly.
6. You left the company, rejoined, and can't sign in with SSO
If your organization deleted your Google or SSO account when you left and created a new one on the same email address when you came back, Beamer can still be holding your old sign-in identity. The email address looks the same to you, but it isn't the same identity underneath.
What this looks like:
You receive and accept the invitation without any problem.
Sign-in then fails, whichever method you try.
A password reset doesn't help, because the account uses SSO rather than a password.
Removing and re-inviting the user does not fix this. The stale identity stays in place through a re-invite, so repeating the invitation just repeats the failure. Contact us instead — we clear the old identity on our side, and sign-in works straight away once we have.
When you write in, tell us that the user left and rejoined and that their SSO account was recreated. That's the detail that lets us find it quickly.
Still locked out?
Contact our support team and include:
The email address on the account.
Which step above failed.
A Jam recording of what you're seeing. Jam captures the console and network activity alongside the screen, which is usually what tells us what's happening.
Whether the user has left and rejoined your organization, and whether their Google or SSO account was recreated in the meantime.
If you can't reach the in-app chat because you can't log in, email us at support@getbeamer.com instead.
