To implement Google Analytics 4 (GA4) in Beamer, follow these steps to track user interactions with your Beamer posts and NPS responses:
Obtain Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID
Go to your Google Analytics account.
Navigate to Admin > Data Streams and select your desired stream.
Copy the Measurement ID (it starts with “G-“).
Add the GA4 Tag ID in Beamer Settings
Log into your Beamer account.
Navigate to Settings > Product Settings: Beamer Settings.
Locate the Google Analytics 4 Tag ID field under the Advanced section.
Paste your GA4 Measurement ID here and save the changes.
What Will Be Tracked
In-app and widget analytics for posts and interactions.
Analytics will be tracked for any CTA or hyperlinks within the post.
Standalone pages where Beamer is used will also be tracked.
What Won’t Be Tracked
Boosted announcements and snippet views are not tracked. Usually boosted announcements will injected into existing pages of your site through a script”
No specific page path is created for snippets in GA4 (URLs remain unchanged).
