Multiple sites vs. Multiple accounts

There's a difference between embedding the same changelog in multiple sites and managing multiple changelogs with the same user.

Using a single account on multiple sites

You can add your embed code on as many sites as you want and all of them will display your changelog but the exact same one. That means each embedded changelog will have the same content, design, and customization. If you're looking for a unique changelog for each site but don't want to sign up with multiple email addresses, you may want to consider managing multiple accounts as a single user.

You can manage multiple accounts as a single user using the following instructions.

Adding a Staging Server

If you have a Beamer plan that allows setting up a staging server on your account, you can follow the instructions below to configure that. We recommend adding the word, “Staging” to the account title to make it clear that it is not a production account.

  1. Open your Beamer dashboard.

  2. Open the user menu by hovering over the icon at the bottom left corner of the screen.

  3. Hover over the name of your current account to open the sub-menu. If you already have multiple accounts, they will all be in that list.

  4. In the submenu, click Create new account.

  5. Set up your new account. You'll be able to access all your accounts from that same menu using the same email and user.
