Keep your customers in the loop with automated status change notifications for ideas they’ve submitted or voted on. You determine which status changes will trigger an email when a status is updated, whether an idea moves from Under Review to In Progress, or any other status transition you’ve configured.

Configure notification settings
Enable status update notifications globally in Feedback settings. You can then fine-tune the experience by enabling or disabling notifications for specific posts when needed, giving you complete control over customer communication within your product workflow. This ensures your customers feel heard and stay engaged with your product development process, while reducing your manual communication overhead.
Global notification settings
Select Settings > Beamer Feedback from the sidebar.
Use the toggle switch to enable or disable notifications for status updates for each status. Activating the notification will trigger an email alert when an idea moves to that status.

Click Save Settings.
Individual idea settings
Even if you have notification settings enabled globally for a particular status, you can still enable or disable notifications for a specific idea.
Select Beamer Feedback from the sidebar and edit an idea.

Use the toggle switch to turn Notify voters on or off.

Click Save.
Email notification
The email sent to users who submitted or voted on an updated idea will include the idea title and status change.

If you’ve added an email signature in your Account Inbox settings, it will be added to the email. If no signature has been added, the full name of the person who updated the status of the idea will be included.
