Setting up the Public Roadmap

Prev Next

The Beamer public roadmap is a tool that enables you to transparently share your product development plans, feature priorities, and progress with customers and prospects. This feature is designed to increase transparency, build trust, and engage users by making the product's direction and upcoming features visible in a clear and organized manner.

Key benefits

  • Visibility: You can display your roadmap as a widget on your site or as a standalone page, making it easily accessible to users.

  • Customization: Choose which ideas, features, or projects are visible on the public roadmap, organize them by stages (e.g., planned, in progress, released), and customize status names and tags to fit your process.

  • Feedback Collection: Users can submit feature requests, upvote ideas, and comment, allowing you to gather and prioritize feedback directly from your audience.

  • Engagement: Respond to feature requests and comments, keeping users updated and involved in the development process.

  • Access Control: You can share the roadmap with everyone or restrict access to select customers.

  • Transparency and Trust: By sharing your roadmap, you demonstrate openness about your product’s future, which helps build customer trust and loyalty.

The public roadmap is particularly valuable for SaaS companies and product teams aiming to involve their users in the development process, prioritize features that matter most to customers, and communicate progress effectively.
