What it does

First the skill checks whether you already have a label system. If you don't, it proposes a small one built from your own content and product areas. If you do, it uses yours, and it can read your team's label rules from a doc or sheet.

It then finds every live flow, checklist, launcher, banner, announcement, resource center and Adoption Agent that has no labels or is missing one, and proposes labels for each. The plan is shown grouped ("14 items → Feature: Reports + Stage: Adoption") so it's quick to check. After you approve, the labels are applied and the skill confirms each one landed.

You finish with an overview: a grid of live items by feature and stage, features with no live content, stages where a lot of content shows on its own, and a list of items that need a decision from your team.

What you'll need

  • The Userflow MCP connected

  • Editor access or above to apply labels. With viewer access, you get the plan and the overview as a read-only report.

How to use it

  • "Our Userflow account is a mess. Label our flows."

  • "Set up a label taxonomy for our content."

  • "Show me everything that's live in Userflow."

The label system

When there's no system yet, the skill proposes three kinds of label. You can correct the list before anything is used.

Label

What it answers

Examples

Feature:

Which part of the product does this help with? One per item.

Feature: Reports, Feature: Integrations

Stage:

Where in the customer journey does it sit? One per item.

Stage: Onboarding, Stage: Adoption, Stage: Trial conversion, Stage: Retention

Audience:

Is it limited to one plan, role or segment? Only when it is.

Audience: Admins, Audience: Enterprise

Labels you already have are reused wherever they mean the same thing. Operational labels such as "Q3 campaign" are kept, outside the system.

Things worth knowing

Labels go live immediately. They aren't part of draft and publish, so the skill always shows the plan and waits for your yes first.

Labels can't be deleted from the skill. Deleting a label is done in the Userflow dashboard. So new labels are only created once an approved item uses them. Approve names you're happy to keep.

It adds labels; it never removes them. Items that already have some labels only get the missing ones.

Some items are set aside rather than guessed at. Test and copy items, items aimed at a single person, and anything whose purpose isn't clear go on the needs-a-decision list with the reason.

Clean-up notes are suggestions only. Unused or near-duplicate labels are reported, but nothing is renamed or removed.

What to do with it

Run it monthly or after a big launch so new content gets labelled too. The userflow-create-reactive-flows and userflow-create-adoption-nudges skills reuse the same labels for the drafts they create. If the overview shows a stage with a lot of content that shows on its own, userflow-optimize-autostart checks whether users are getting too much at once.
