AI Insights alerts
AI insights continuously analyze your Flow performance across multiple time periods (week-over-week, month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter) to identify significant changes that deserve your attention. No manual alert setup required!
AI Insights alerts are automatically generated in your Flows. From the AI Insights alerts, you can:

Types of AI Insights
Insight | Description |
|---|---|
View changes | Alerts you when Flow views increase or decrease significantly. |
Completion volume changes | Monitors sudden changes in completion volume. |
Step views analysis (Step with significant increases in drop-offs) | Identifies the step with the highest % drop-off rate in each Flow and pinpoints steps where drop-off rates have increased significantly. |
Element errors (High element missing errors) | Surfaces steps with high “Element Not Found” error rates (>10%). This helps you quickly fix broken selectors before they impact more users. |
Viewing AI Insights
AI Insights appear above your Flow analytics dashboard. Each insight card displays the alert, related metrics, and a link to directly examine the specific issue. .png)
Insight prioritization
AI Insights focuses on the highest-impact addressable alerts. If you already have an alert set up for a particular Flow, we won’t generate AI Insights for that particular type. For example, if you set up a manual alert for the completion rate of a Flow, we will still generate insights for view-level and step-level views, as well as for missing elements. Each insight includes a relevant link with a call to action (CTA) so you can act immediately to improve performance and the user experience.
Userflow shows a maximum of:
Three negative insights (problems to address)
One positive insight (successes to celebrate)
Each insight stays active for 7 days from its generation date. During this time, the insight remains visible even if no new data comes in. An insight will only be replaced when we generate a new insight of the same type for that specific flow.
Insights are prioritized by severity:
Sudden drops >50% or to zero for completion rates
Sudden drops >50% or to zero for views
Other completion rate changes
Other view changes
Element errors
Step-level changes
Minimum requirements for insight generation
AI Insights are generated when your flows meet certain activity thresholds. For example, to receive insights about view changes or step performance, your flow needs at least 10 daily views and a change of 5 or more views over a 14-day period.
Insight Type | Min. Daily Avg. | Min. Change Required | Min. History Required |
|---|---|---|---|
Views change | At least 10 daily views | +/- 5 views | 14 days |
Completion rate | At least 5 daily completions | +/- 5 completions | 14 days |
Step view change | At least 10 daily views | +/- 5 views | 14 days |
Element errors | 0 | >5 missing element errors | 14 days |
AI Insights vs. custom alerts
In Userflow, you can set up your own custom alert policies to keep a close eye on your content’s performance. This is a great way to closely monitor what matters to you about the performance of your Flows and address issues. AI Insights takes that one step further by automatically identifying the highest-impact issues, so you don’t have to set up manual alerts or check multiple dashboards. If you have a manually-created alert policy.
