Scheduling Userflow experiences

Prev Next

You can set up “Auto-start” or “Only Show If” conditions to schedule a Userflow experience to begin and end at specified future dates and times. The conclusion date is optional, allowing you to simply specify a date and time after which the auto-start/only show conditions will trigger the experience.

Which experiences can be scheduled?

You can use this method to schedule the following Userflow types: Flow, Checklist, Launcher, Resource Center, Embed (Banner or Checklist), Announcement, Event Tracker.

  1. In the builder, activate the Auto-start or Only show if option using the toggle switch

  2. Click Add condition and select Current time.

  3. Select the date and time after which the experience should start.

  4. (Optional) Add an end date and time, if desired.

  5. Click Publish when ready.

Using the ‘Temporarily Hide Flow’ option to end a flow

There may be instances when you set an end date for a Flow (or other experience), but a user has started it but not completed or dismissed it yet. In this case, the user may still see the flow appear even after the end date has passed.

Add a Temporarily Hide Flow condition for Current time and set a date after which the flow should be hidden, regardless of the user’s completion status.
