Canceling your Userflow subscription or finding your renewal date

Prev Next

Finding your renewal date

  1. Log in to Userflow and go to Settings from the sidebar.

  2. Select Billing.

  3. Your current plan name, renewal date, and billing summary are displayed on this page.

If you don't see a Billing section, you may not have Admin access. Contact your workspace Admin to check.

Thinking about canceling because you're over your MAU limit?

You may not need to cancel. Most overage surprises come from identifying users you don't actually need to engage. Before canceling, try right-sizing:

  • Check your real MAU usage across all environments — use this guided flow or go to Users → filter Last seen < 30 days.

  • Reduce what's counted — stop calling identifyAnonymous() on public/unauthenticated pages, identify only the user roles you target, and keep Userflow out of staging. Full steps: "How Userflow Tracks and Bills MAUs → How to Reduce Your MAU Count".

  • Right-size your plan instead of leaving — if you're consistently under a lower tier, you can start a downgrade in Settings → Billing (the page shows what to bring within limits first). Your flows, data, and setup stay intact.

If you still want to cancel, here's how.

Canceling your subscription

You can cancel your subscription yourself. You'll need Admin or Owner access.

  1. Go to SettingsBilling.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of your plan card and click Cancel your subscription.

  3. Follow the prompts to confirm.

If you'd rather talk it through first, or you can't complete the cancellation yourself, contact your Userflow account manager or customer success manager. If you don't have a named contact, email support@userflow.com with your account name and the email address on your workspace.

What to expect after canceling

  • Your Userflow subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period — you won't lose access immediately.

  • After the subscription ends, your workspace data is retained for a period before deletion. View our data retention policy here.

  • You'll receive a confirmation email when the cancellation is processed.

I need to cancel before my renewal date — what should I do?
