Userflow plans
Your Userflow plan scales with your MAU volume, the number of environments you need, and which features you want to use.
To see your current plan and what's included, check your billing settings. Just exploring Userflow? See current pricing and a full feature comparison on our pricing page.
What changes when you downgrade
If you downgrade to a lower plan tier, features and limits that exceed the lower plan's allowances will be affected. Before your downgrade takes effect:
Environments: If you have more environments active than the lower plan allows, you'll need to archive the extras.
MAU: If your current MAU exceeds the lower plan's limit, usage caps apply at the start of the next billing period.
Feature access: Features that aren't included on your new plan become unavailable immediately upon downgrade.
Data retention: Historical data (user sessions, event history, analytics) is retained — you won't lose past data when downgrading, but you may lose the ability to view certain reports depending on plan feature access.
Survey questions: Your plan may include a limited number of survey questions, counted across published flows in all environments. If a downgrade puts you over your new plan's limit, you'll need to remove questions until you're back within it.
Changing your plan
Upgrades are self-serve. In Settings → Billing, choose a higher plan; it takes effect immediately (prorated for the rest of the billing cycle).
Downgrades can be started in Settings → Billing as well. Userflow checks your usage against the lower plan's limits and shows anything that's over (as current / allowed). Bring those items within range to complete the downgrade yourself, or contact Userflow support if you need help finishing it. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
Cancellations are handled by support — see "Canceling your Userflow subscription".
How to find your renewal date
In Userflow, go to Settings from the sidebar.
Select Billing.
Your current plan, renewal date, and billing summary are shown here.
If you don't see a Billing option, you may not have Admin access to your Userflow workspace.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upgrade mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the remaining billing period.
Can I add more environments to my current plan?
Additional environments may be available as an add-on. Contact your CS team for details.
What happens to my content if I upgrade?
All your existing flows, checklists, and settings are preserved. Upgrading unlocks new features and higher limits — nothing is removed.
